"Based on my information Bagram prison produces Taliban like a factory," Karzai said. "Bagram is a place where innocent people were brought though it was their own country's soil."
He said that he believed that in the past the prison had been a place where detainees had been tortured; where they had been taught to hate; and where they had begun to fight against their own country.
He insisted that he would never allow the US to put Afghan people into the prison based on their objectives.
