In an hour long press conference on Saturday, President Hamid Karzai said he does not want the Kabul-Washington security pact to be a second Durand Line Treaty, referring to a deal made by former Afghan King Abdul Rahman Khan with British India on what is now a disputed border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Afghan president Hamid Karzai reached power after Sep 11, 2001, with the full support of the U.S. in, but now, a few months left in his term, he has only criticisms and denunciations when it comes to America.

President Karzai on Saturday said that nothing can force him to sign the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA), not force, not pressure and not psychological warfare.

"If they want to leave, then they can go and leave today, we will continue to our lives," Karzai said.

In this episode of Farakhabar, host Yama Siawash discusses the topic with the following guests:

Ahmad Behzad, MP

Abass Noyan, Member Right and Justice Party (RJP)
