The families of people who have died in result of the ongoing insurgent war in Afghanistan on Wednesday denounced the release of prisoners from Bagram prison and demanded the full prosecution and punishment of those involved in killing Afghan civilians.

The families emphasized that the government has no the right to free these criminals without a supporting court decision, calling the move an insult to the blood of their loved ones.

Earlier this week, it was announced that some 650 prisoners, including 88 deemed "dangerous", were being released from Bagram prison base don the order of a committee formed by President Hamid Karzai.

A mother of a victim of a suicide attack expressed her disappointment about the news of the releases. Her son, Nawab, was murdered with his friends in ShahDarak area of Kabul.

"May Allah destroy them, they should be executed so that their mothers feel our pain and sorrow," she said.

"We will never forgive them, the prisoners who are involved in killing people should tried, and the government shouldn't release them without justice being served," the father of Nawab said.

Another father of a suicide attack victim had a son who was a driver who was killed in a suicide attack in front of the Supreme Court building this year. He has left several children behind with a widow and a blind father.

"Only pained and poor people are killed, no one is there to hear the voice of us except Allah," he said.

The widow of the suicide victim said that she has no shelter and support and asked the government to help her and not to release the criminals who killed her husband.

"Its an act of oppression to release those inmates who are involved in taking away my children's father and making them orphans," she said.

A TOLOnews correspondent also reached the family of another victim who lost their two sons at the suicide attack near the Loya Jirga venue in November.

"The government has no right to release the inmates who have killed our loved ones, they will reintegrate with their companions and again conduct suicide attacks," their brother Haji Farid said.
