Kabul's appeal court on Saturday tried four persons accused of murder, armed theft and kidnapping in Kabul first district, and sentenced their leader Abdul Samad to 20 years in prison.
Meanwhile, a man who had been kidnapped by these four persons accuses high ranking officials of being involved in the case.
A number of people who had been kidnapped by this group are concerned over increase of abduction and urged prevention of human smuggling.
Abdul Samad who was accused of a series of murder and abduction was sentenced to 20 years jail today.
Head of Kabul appeal court says that Abdul Samad accompanied by his three accomplices who are charged with murder, abduction and armed theft were arrested by the police.
It comes after the primary court has acknowledged him innocent.
Previously Kabul police had expressed concern over interference of a number of MPs and senators to get criminals released.
