Afghanistan Defence Ministry on Monday said that silence of Islamabad towards Pakistani Taliban's announcement to participate in Afghan Taliban's spring offensive in Afghanistan proves Pakistan's support of these attacks.

Afghan ministry of defence has announced of preparations for elimination of terrorists and their activities and added that they [Insurgents] do not have the ability to confront the National Army.

"We are fully prepared for suppression of any kind of enemy activity and often we have suppressed very heavy and dangerous attacks launched at the same time in different provinces and also many parts of Kabul city, they [Insurgents] cannot confront the National Army," Afghan Defence Ministry spokesman told TOLOnews.

It comes after Pakistani Taliban declared that its militants will participate alongside the Afghan Taliban in their spring offensive against Afghan and foreign forces in Afghanistan.

Pakistani Taliban newly said that currently Pakistani militants are active against Afghan and foreign forces, especially in southwestern Logar province.

Afghan defence ministry called the statement merely a propaganda but at the same time strictly condemned Islamabad's silence towards Pakistani Taliban.

"We expected the Pakistan government's position against this statement but silence of Pakistan towards Pakistani Taliban proves our legitimacy that they [Pakistan] support these attacks." Afghan Defence Ministry spokesman told TOLOnews.

Meanwhile, there are some concerns that solidarity of terrorist groups in Taliban's spring offensive under the name of Khalid bin Walid will bring some challenges to Afghan military and security of Afghanistan.

"Solidarity of terrorist groups in this operation [Khalid bin Walid] is an effort of insurgents to change guerrilla war to front line war and to attack bases and outposts and such method and in the absence of air force support, Afghan forces will be faced with lots of danger and casualties," security analyst Jawid Kohistani told TOLOnews.

Pakistani Taliban have long been supporting Afghan Taliban, even now Hakimullah Mehsood Pakistani Taliban leader says that they have sent militants to Afghanistan under the name of Truth Caravan [Karwan e Haqiqat] for fighting and supporting Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan.
