A civilian cargo aircraft has crashed at the Bagram Airfield in the north of Kabul Monday afternoon, local official said.
The incident took place at about 03:00pm local time, and there is no exact information about the casualties, the district police chief of Bagram, Zemaray Khan said.
He did not provide details about how many people were on board or what the name of the company operating the aircraft is.
The US-led military also confirmed the crash and said that it happened from a low altitude right after it took off from the base.
It comes as, four Nato troops who were killed over the weekend in a plane crash in southern Afghanistan were Americans, according to the CNN.
The MC-12 crashed Saturday. The cause of the crash is under investigation but there was apparently no enemy activity in the area.
