Washinton, Moscow and Nato agreed to continue on air support process of Afghanistan with the technical cooperation of Russia and financial support of Nato.
Meanwhile, the Afghan Ministry of Defence calls the agreement of Russia and Nato important in terms of financing and repairing of Afghanistan air force planes and added that it would at least remove part of the challenges ahead of his forces.
Afghan air forces are trying to remove basic challenges ahead, and Nato and Russia have agreed on continuing to support these forces.
Based on this agreement, Afghan air force will gain necessary skills to use 47 Russian helicopters.
General Zahir Azimi spokesman of MOD said "in some cases we are faced with lack of spare parts and technical support. And this agreement could remove these problems".
Previously, there were some reports that some of the helicopters and transportation planes of Afghanistan air force are unavailable due to lack of spare parts.
MOD emphasises that these forces are faced with lack of equipment.
"Our Russian helicopters and planes need spare parts and repairing,"
Zahir Azimi spokesman of MOD said.
